The Church is a registered Provincial Historic Site.  It is an original hand cut log building with cedar shingles on the exterior.  Restoration took place in the mid 2000’s and included replacing the floor and windows with period style materials.  It was built around 1912 with an addition in the 1920’s.

Typical old church benches seat approximately 60 people.  There is an historic alter, candle holders and a working pump organ.

Weddings,  memorials,  private services are all welcomed.   St. Margaret’s is no longer an active church and as such,  all denominations are welcome to use this historic site.

There is no power or running water at the site.   St. Margaret’s church is about 4 minutes from the main highway with plenty of parking in a serene setting.   Poplar trees and natural vegetation surround the church, providing a perfect setting for photos.
